MOCA Jacksonville – Downtown for the Holidays

MOCA Jacksonville has been through many changes over the last few decades, and has been in its current (and seemingly permanent) location across from  since 1999. The former Western Union Telegraph Building was built in the early 1930s, and its gorgeous Art Deco architecture was restored when the museum moved in. Together with the , the institution is a must-see downtown destination. Contemporary Realism at MOCA

On September 12th, for their patrons and members only, unveils an exhibit featuring American contemporary painters , , , , , , , and . There is a reception for patrons from 6-7pm, followed by one from 7-9 pm for museum members. The general public is invited to the exhibition on September 13 through January 4.
