Words by Carson Rich The rebuild of the Jacksonville Jaguars continues. North Florida’s home team showed much improvement this year, but fell short at the very end, leaving fans questioning where it all went wrong. After such a promising start to the season, they had the league thinking there was a new force to be reckoned with in the AFC, but the downfall in the second half of the season turned out to leave a blemish on what could have been.    Season after season, the question still remains…what now?   The 2023 offseason gave the entire city of Jacksonville …

Sportsmanship and Sore Losers

Mallorie Aldrich   Sportsmanship is a life lesson many people are taught at a young age and learn to understand the meaning as they grow up and mature. According to the Merriam-Webster, sportsmanship means “conduct becoming to one participating in a sport such as fairness, respect for one’s opponent, and graciousness in winning or losing.” Even if someone has a very competitive nature, they still understand the meaning of sportsmanship when participating in sports. But there are a few outliers …

Weird Wild Stuff

Words by Shelton Hull  We’ve all probably visited the Florida Welcome Center on I-95 at least once, but it’s unlikely that you were there on July 6, and that’s good for you because it was the scene of a major drug bust by the Florida Highway Patrol and Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. After arresting a man and a woman for illegal window tint, a subsequent search revealed they were using their car as a mobile meth lab. Similar busts have happened all over Northeast Florida, usually in motel rooms, mobile homes and apartments, but this was unusual, even by Florida …

2020 Feud Sports First Round NFL Mock Draft

Pick 1 — Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow, QB, LSU Does a world exist where the Bengals trade down and see what value they can get on a QB later in the draft? I think it does exist, but we won’t find out. The only thing up in the air here is what happens with the Red Rocket in the NFL. Pick 2 — Washington Redskins Chase Young, DE, Ohio State Washington isn’t going to take a QB, right? RIGHT!? Trade down is definitely possible, but I think they take who is likely the best prospect on their board. Pick 3 …

Feud Exclusive: Chef Nina G Popular Among Jaguars’ Fournette, Ngakoue

“Steel Cut Oats. Egg whites, with Mozzarella cheese. Turkey bacon, but not crispy. Fresh watermelon and Midnight Beauty grapes. Orange juice with pomegranate, and a little brown sugar on the side.” Sitting on the patio of a local coffee shop, Chef Nina G rattles ’s daily breakfast off of the top of her head ecstatically, without fumbling. She dives into Fournette’s lunch and dinner preference with vigor, barely allowing me to get a word in. She’s elated to discuss the menu, but I’m more interested in how she became a personal chef for some of the ’ most popular athletes. …
