The Pelican Awards, which is ’s version of the Tony Awards, is one of the most awaited local theatre events of the year. This year’s festivities, honoring the contributions of actors, musicians, technical staff, and volunteers during the 2016-17 season, were staged on August 27, 2017 and played to a packed house.
