The Douglas Anderson Theatre & Instrumental Department presented the school’s annual musical on November 20, 21, 22, 2014 on its Southside Jacksonville campus with  & Brian Crawley’s winsome musical “Violet.”“” is based on a 1973 short story by  entitled “The Ugliest Pilgrim.” In 1981 it was adapted as a film and won an  for Best Live Action Short Film. Matt & Ben – theatre review

The  group opened a two-weekend run of the satirical comedy “” on February 28, which will run through March 8 at The , 955 North Liberty Street, in downtown Jacksonville. This one-hour/one-act play, which debuted in 2002 at a , was written by  and , two young actresses, who also played the two characters of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
