ARTREPUBLIC FASHION DESIGN GALA NOV. 10

Jacksonville, FL: Yesterday, ArtRepublic announced that the Fashion Design Gala will take place November 10 at the historic Prime Osborn Convention Center. The organization revealed that International beauty brand Estee Lauder will serve as Title Sponsor of the event in correlation with New York City Fashion Designer Alex Vinash. The Design Gala will include a black-tie cocktail party and Fashion Exhibit by Jacksonville based photographer Toni Smalajic, contributing to the conversation of Fashion being acknowledged as applied Art.

Last year’s strategic positioning of the ArtRepublic Fashion Design Gala made it the first centralized event in Jacksonville to be focused exclusively on combining corporate focused organizations and creative artisans together with an attendance of over 400 guests. As a result, the showcasing brand Luxuryia saw an uplift in international sales and a lift in international media reach. Successfully so, the brand landed a spread in Vogue Italia as well as other recognized publications.

This year Estee Lauder will host the ‘Estee Lauder Backstage Experience’ during the Fashion Design Gala. The experience is intended to entertain Sponsors, Partners and VIP attendees, allowing them to engage with the Designer on a more intimate and personal level. “I couldn’t be more pleased with the partnership between ArtRepublic and Estee Lauder”, says Sales & Education Executive Valerie Fazzingo. “Through our fashion event and social media campaign, we will work to showcase the strength and beauty behind modern trends, and shed light on the fashion and beauty community in Jacksonville”.

ArtRepublic is proud to work with emerging artists and designers to help elevate and showcase their brand. “The biggest driving force in New York City for me was being surrounded by people who are continuously pushing and redefining the boundaries of what and how art is used in society. The social pressure alone, forced me into creating each day, and I feared losing that drive in Jacksonville. ArtRepublic came at the perfect timing where their efforts in shifting the idea of how public art is perceived and made, revitalized the energy I missed in New York City”, says Jacksonville based photographer Toni Smalajic.

Alex Vinash, ArtRepublic Fashion Gala, Jacksonville, Florida, Art RepublicProviding production, press resources and brand consulting, the organization is set out to use this event to facilitate the exposure of the designer’s brand. This year’s event will see local, national and international buyers, journalists and photographers from the around the world, along with some of the most influential retailers and publications. This provides new lucrative opportunities for showcasing designers and increased global media coverage for our sponsors and partners involved in the event.

Presenting Designer Alex Vinash will reveal his new 2018 Spring Collection, inspired by handmade textures and feather designs. “I am thrilled to be participating as the lead designer in ArtRepublic’s Fashion Design Gala!” Says Vinash. “I am honored to get the opportunity to work with ArtRepublic and I am impressed with how their incubator program helps designers obtain exposure and to gain access to the fashion marketplace. ArtRepublic is an important resource that helps emerging designers to reach to the next level!”

In keeping with the concept of Fashion, ArtRepublic is partnering with Tory Burch to host a fundraiser at the brand’s Jacksonville boutique, which opened last year. The designer’s collections often draw inspiration from the art around world. The event’s proceeds will benefit ArtRepublic directly to continue helping with community initiatives in the River City.
