Bill Engvall is a platinum album seller, member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, and star of the Bill Engvall Show. His witty humor based on his life experiences makes him relatable to a vast number of people.

It was obvious that several members of the audience were huge Bill Engvall fans as I was accompanied by laughter in nearly in every line that he spoke. In this evening’s routine, Bill shared his experience of building a house with his wife of 33 years, his time on the hit show Dancing With the Stars, and subsequently his experience of having a knee replacement.

Bill Engvall has a certain class about him even when he approaches touchy subjects. While The Bill Engvall Show is still running on TBS, Bill manages to share his talent with audiences by performing tours and I was grateful to be able to see one. After this performance, Bill will travel up the east coast to Canada and return to Florida next March in Clearwater, FL.

If you have the chance to see him perform, grab it or you may be the next subject of “Here’s your sign”!   ~Theater Buffette

I will be honest.  I had never heard of Bill Engvall until I was asked to review his show at the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts (THCA) in south Orange Park. It was a sold out show and I am glad that I had the opportunity to end the week with laughter.

Bill made me chuckle with every day relatable stories.   He used descriptive words that conveyed a vivid picture which made the story that much more enjoyable.

Special thanks to the executive director of the THC for booking such a talented artist.  I am not sure how many people are aware of this beautiful venue with perfect acoustics.  It is only 15 minutes south of I-295 in Clay County.

So take a drive down Blanding Blvd.  You will be glad you did.  ~A.S. MacLeod
