in grades 2 – 5 will explore the world of unscripted stage play in a
warm, safe, and supportive environment. In this low impact playshop,
kids will play improv games that grow self-confidence and enable them to
expand
their creativity individually, and, as an ensemble.

With this play-based learning, kids will experience:

• Being – and responding – in the moment.

• Accepting and building on gifts from each other.

• Problem solving as a group.

• Embracing – and using – failure as well as each other’s ideas.

• Co-creating with others (listening, giving & taking focus).

• Thriving in an unscripted environment.

• Getting over stage fright.

returned for one more hurrah. 2024 finds Sophia out on bail, after being busted
by the DEA for running a drug ring for retirees. Blanche and Rose have founded
CreakN, a thriving sex app for seniors. And Dorothy is trying to hold it all
together, with help from her much younger, sex-crazed love interest. Relive the
heartfelt hilarity of four ladies who never stopped being your friends!

“1964”  focuses on the quintessential moment in history, when The Beatles actually played before a LIVE audience.  The Beatles toured the world in the early 1960’s, but now only a  precious few remain who actually saw them LIVE. Who actually felt the “mania” that brought them to world acclaim. Today, all that remains are a few scant memories and some captured images in pictures and on poor quality film and video.

“1964” meticulously re-creates the “MAGIC” of those LIVE Beatles’ performances with artful precision and unerring accuracy. For those that never saw The Beatles LIVE and always wanted to know what it must have been like…this is as close as anyone could possibly get to…FEELING the MAGIC! For over 30 years, “1964” has thrilled audiences with what is considered to be the most authentic and endearing tribute to The Beatles.

Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, STOMP continues to tour North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia following 15 years in London’s West End and 29 years at New York’s Orpheum Theatre, and lengthy sit down productions in San Francisco, Boston and Las Vegas. this smart, from the heart comedy show, audience members experience two
types of improv—both completely made up on the spot!

In the front: Short form improv a la Whose Line is it Anyway? Audience members are tapped for game and scene suggestions as the All Star Players work their magic—all without a script.

In the back:
Long form improv where one mighty audience suggestion is the
inspiration for a one-act play or musical or sitcom that plays for
one-night only, never to be seen again!

And that’s the Comedy Mullet—short form improv in the front and long form improv in the back! No hair gel needed.

Laugh among locals and visitors with a completely different show every week!

Lightwire Theater has been featured as a semi-finalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and winner of Tru TV’s Fake Off. The group combines theater and technology to bring stories to life in complete darkness and is internationally recognized for its signature brand of electroluminescent artistry.

Lightwire co-creators Ian Carney and Corbin Popp met in New York City while dancing in Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out on Broadway. An immediate connection was made between the kindred spirits as they discovered their mutual love of art, theater, and technology. After coming across a product called, “el wire,” the lights turned on and the possibilities seemed endless. Together, with their wives Eleanor and Whitney, they began to experiment with shapes and designs to develop puppetry-based neon creatures that quickly came to life.

Based in New Orleans, Lightwire Theater continues to create and deliver innovative theatrical experiences to audiences worldwide including: Hong Kong, Estonia, Canada, Belarus, China, Abu Dhabi, and as finalists on My TF1’s, The Best Le Meilleur Artiste in Paris.
