first half of the evening will be a family-friendly carnival, packed
with games, activities, and treats for all ages. As the sun sets, the
festivities transform into an interactive party with live entertainment
and captivating performances. This year, Project May Day is proud to
support Fostering Connections as our beneficiary, making your
participation even more impactful. Come celebrate with us and enjoy a
night filled with laughter, excitement, and community spirit. See you

The power of our mission is being felt as never before. The achievement of “Mental Health for All” has never felt this critical yet closer to being realized.

It’s not how far we walk at NAMIWalks Jacksonville on October 19 at Winston Family YMCA​, but how far we’ve come to make our milestones count. With your support and high spirits, we intend to make an unprecedented impact on mental health in our community.  NAMIWalks 2024 represents a powerful chance to leave a significant mark on the local mental health landscape.   

Whether you’re a previous participant or a new voice waiting to be heard, we’re pretty sure you’ll find the festivities inspired and inspiring.

We encourage all guests and participants to come out and donate! All of the proceeds will go directly to our very own NAMI Jacksonville affiliate to support our local, free, top-rated programs offered in Northeast Florida.

in Show” contest hosted by Katie Jeffries of First Coast News, get a
free nail trim by Green Dog Spa.  Visit
our “Ask the Trainer” booth and get free training advice from certified
dog trainer, Kate Godfrey, CPDT-KA, owner of Comprehensive Canine Training.
Pick up a voucher for a $10 micro-chip or adopt a new pet from Animal Care
& Protective Services and local rescues.  Visit Lark Native
Plants and purchase native plans and learn about pollinators.  Stop by the Joan H. Walker PAWtography
booth and have a professional photo taken of your pet.  There will be Kids activities by Epic
Outreach.  Awesome eats by Berry
Good Farms Food Truck.  K9 Disc Demonstrations by Jax Disc Dog
League. Vendors for pets and people, a Charity Pop Up Shop, lots of adoptable
pets and the Blessing of the Pets by Bishop John Oliver and Father Bob Bevans-Kerr,
St. Philip Neri Ecumenical Church, at 1:15pm. 

The American Lung Association will hosted its 11 Annual LUNG FORCE Walk, November 16, 2024 at UNF. Join us for  morning of healthy activity amoung friends.    It’s also an occasion to honor the memory of those we’ve lost to lung cancer, and to lift up those who need our support.    Our Walk event was created to raise awareness and funds to fight lung cancer and
all lung disease in our Northeast Florida community. Breathing is essential to
life. From our first breath to our last, every breath counts. The
American Lung Association works every day to defeat lung cancer, improve the
air we breathe, reduce the burden of lung disease on individuals and their
families, and eliminate tobacco use and tobacco-related diseases.

Champagne for Change is an annually hosted black tie fundraising event expressively designed to bring awareness to the needs concerning the urban core communities of Jacksonville.   The goal for this event is to raise enough funds to provide a stipend to a high school student on their way to college, sponsor 5 families for Christmas by providing toys and food (where needed) as well as provide a monetary endorsement to local minority owned business.

Join us on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 at the Florida Blue Conference Center located at 4800 Deerwood Campus Parkway for an inspiring luncheon of connection, purpose, and philanthropy in support of Volunteers in Medicine Jacksonville.
