by Tom Weppel NFL PLAYOFFS This weekend we will see the top four teams in the NFL hosting games, all with a good shot at getting to the Championship game next weekend. Amazingly, all four contests will feature teams that played each other during the regular season. In the AFC, we’ll start with the Titans hosting the Ravens. Baltimore comes off a win over Miami. They are a good, strong, tough outfit. Their Defense certainly continues to play at the highest level. Their Offense has done a pretty good job, also. This game starts at 4 p.m., instead of the original time of 1 p.m. While the Jags want to finish the season on a winning note, their chances of doing so are quite slim. The Ravens are playing solid football, having come back from their win at Dallas and are looking at a playoff wild card spot with a win. by Tom Weppel JAGUARS I think its very possible the Jaguars could be without GM James Harris and DC Gregg Williams when the season is over. While Harris said in a T-U interview that all players are chosen by a group (as opposed to him making the final decision, like almost all GM’s in other franchises do), I still think his input has not been what the team needs in order to bring the right players to have as part of the team. JAGUARS This weekend the Jaguars will be home to host the Green Bay Packers, a team that just lost their last two games at home while being right in the middle of their own Division race. Jacksonville has turned into a team that makes mistakes early and often to start a game, gets behind early, then faces a totally uphill battle trying to look halfway decent. Orlando, Fla – NOVEMBER 24: The Orlando Magic’s win (108-101) against Philadelphia’s 76ers at Amway Arena bring the Magic to a 10-4 record. Dwight Howard had 24 pts for the night and was only 10 of 20 at the free throw line. Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis both contributed 22 to the board. Milwaukee’s Richard Jefferson scored 25 points for the night. The Bucks have lost 5 straight games against the Magic.
