Essential Listening

The two musicians perform Time is of the Essence, in tribute to jazz legend Michael Brecker. It’s especially interesting because saxophonist and composer Brecker, winner of 15 Grammys, was a musical powerhouse, and the work has stood the test of time. It was well-received and well-reviewed upon release and is now widely regarded as a straight-ahead jazz classic.
