Max used to wander NYC’s Village collecting cookie jars with Andy Warhol … he was also one of the first millionaire artists. Romero Britto transformed himself from a painter too poor to paint on canvas (he used newspaper) into an artist who makes “images to inspire people,” and whose work is all over South Florida. The works are on view at Gallery 725 May 10-20; receptions with Britto May 19 and 20.
