MAYOR CURRY TO HOST A TREE LIGHTING IN HEMMING PARK AT 6:45pm

Headquarters at Hemming Park. Enjoy live performances by Duly Noted, Players by the Sea, Scott Jones School of Dance and Groove Coalition beginning at 5 p.m. on the main stage. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and join Mayor Lenny Curry as he lights the Hemming Park tree near the fountain at 6:45 p.m. Throughout the night, shop local for holiday gifts, enjoy food trucks and a beer tent, and bring the little ones for rides on the “Polar Express” train. Plus, embrace the Spirit of Giving this month and bring a new, unused toy for children ages 9-12 at the Salvation Army booth.

Holiday at St. James • Join Mayor Curry and his family from 4-7 p.m. for Holiday at St. James featuring holiday activities, entertainment and more inside City Hall. In addition, Mrs. Curry will read a holiday story to families at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Atrium, which will be followed by the tree lighting at 6:45 p.m. in Hemming Park.

The Jacksonville Landing • Get in the holiday spirit at #FrontPorchJax! Enjoy cold beer, food trucks, live music, local vendors, and special guest Santa Claus from 6-9 p.m.

The 5 & Dime, A Theatre Co. • View artwork by renowned artist J. Adam McGalliard and enjoy a live performance by Off the Record and friends at 7:30 p.m.

The Art Center Cooperative, Inc. (Jacksonville Landing) • View artwork by local artists in the “Small Objects” show on display until Dec. 15 and view work by featured artist Michael Cenci throughout the month.

Jacksonville Main Library • Visit the Living History: A Cultural Mosaic Exhibit; explore the UNF Senior Showcase and a variety of activities in the Jax Makerspace. Plus, enjoy a Florida Brass Quintet performance by Three Amigos, experience library tours at 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and view Around the World Photography by Lee-Margaret Borland until 7 p.m.

MOCA Jacksonville • Browse current exhibits and enjoy free admission from 5-8 p.m., get creative during Art Fusion with inspiration from current gallery exhibits. Be sure to grab a bite at NOLA MOCA, located inside.

Southlight Gallery • Visit the new location at the Wells Fargo Building in suite 113! View artwork by featured guest speaker Stephanie Cafcules from 5-8 p.m.

Visit Jacksonville • Visit R.A.D.D (Rising Against Disabilities and Discrimination) and learn about their organization and ways to donate. Then, check out Yes You Canvas with David Durett and FSCJ Artist Series performances by Cindy De Padua & Amanda Faye. Plus, enjoy local art by Aly Cat, Coolery Jewelry, Ramta Dhir, Rhashid Dukes, Body & Soul, Patrick Winterbourne, George Lamach Wood Art, Anthony Danes & Misty Prince, Traveler Emporium, Tara Lebowitz, Sunset Photos and Nagami Arts.

Wolf & Cub • Check out the opening of For the Love of Munny, a vinyl toy show featuring local artist designs. Donate a toy to receive a 20% discount voucher redeemable during Art Walk only. Plus, enjoy live music by Mama Blue throughout the night.
