JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars announced their 2017 training camp schedule, which featured 10 practices open to fans, including the two joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 15.

All public dates will take place at the practice fields adjacent to EverBank Field.

To attend Jaguars training camp open sessions, fans should register in advance online at www.jaguars.com/trainingcamp. Practice times are subject to change. Gates will open 30 minutes prior to the start of practice. Parking is available in Lots M and N, and concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase on site. Limited player autograph availability will occur at the conclusion of each practice.

2017 JAGUARS REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE

TICKET INFORMATION:

Fans not wanting to miss a minute of the action at EverBank Field can immediately begin purchasing single-game tickets for the 2017 season by visiting Jaguars.com, Ticketmaster.com or by calling (904) 633-2000. Members of the Jaguars Sales Team are standing by following the schedule announcement to assist with fan questions. Group tickets will be available to the general public beginning on April 25.

OPENING IN HOUSTON:

The Jaguars will open the season against the Texans for the first time in franchise history, as the two teams will square off in a Week 1 matchup on Sept. 10, 2017. Houston’s NRG Stadium, which has a retractable roof, could play host to the Jaguars first indoor road opener since facing the Minnesota Vikings in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Week 1 of the 2012 season (L, 23-26, OT).

BACK-TO-BACK DIVISIONAL RIVALS TO START 2017:

To begin the season, the Jaguars travel to Houston to face the Texans in Week 1 and host Tennessee in the home opener in Week 2. This marks the first time in franchise history the Jaguars will face back-to-back AFC South opponents to begin the season. In 2016, the Jaguars were 2-4 against divisional opponents.

ACROSS THE POND:

The Jaguars will face the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 24 in Jacksonville’s fifth matchup abroad in London’s Wembley Stadium. Jacksonville, which has played a home game at Wembley Stadium since 2013, is looking for its third consecutive win in the U.K., having won the last two games (Oct. 2, 2016 vs. Indianapolis, 30-27 and Oct. 25, 2015 vs. Buffalo, 34-31) in London.

MARCH TO METLIFE:

The Jaguars will travel to East Rutherford, N.J. to face the Jets for the 12th time in the team’s regular season history on Oct. 1, 2017. The Jaguars lead the regular season series against the Jets, 6-5. Jacksonville is looking for its first road win against the Jets since capturing a 24-22 win on Nov. 15, 2009. The Jaguars are searching for their first regular season win at MetLife Stadium, which opened in 2010, having lost to the Jets in East Rutherford in 2015 and 2011 and the New York Giants in the stadium’s inaugural season in 2010.

STEEL CITY CONTEST:

The Jaguars will face the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 23nd time in the regular season when Jacksonville travels to Pittsburgh on Oct. 8, 2017. The overall series between the two teams is tied at 11-11. The Jaguars have lost their last three contests against the Steelers and are looking for their first regular season win at Heinz Field since defeating the Steelers, 29-22, on Dec. 16. 2007. In their last road game at Pittsburgh, the Jaguars defeated the Steelers, 31-29, on Jan. 5, 2008, in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs.

COAST-TO-COAST:

The Jaguars will host both Los Angeles franchises during the 2017 season. The Jaguars will face the Rams for just the second time at EverBank Field in franchise history. The Rams last traveled to Jacksonville on Oct. 18, 2009, when then-K Josh Scobee made a 36-yard game-winning FG in overtime to defeat the Rams, 23-20. The Jaguars are 1-3 all-time against the Rams. The Jaguars will face the Los Angeles Chargers for the fourth consecutive year. Jacksonville is 2-3 at home against the Chargers, with their last meeting at EverBank Field on Nov. 29, 2015, when the Chargers defeated the Jaguars, 31-25.

BYE BYE:

The Jaguars will have their bye week during Week 8 of the 2017 season. The last time the Jaguars’ bye week fell during Week 8 was in 2015, and it is only the second time in franchise history that the team will have their bye week at the half-way point of the season. Week 7 has been the most popular bye week in team history, occurring five times over the course of the franchise’s 23 seasons.

BIG CATS IN DUVAL:

Jacksonville hosts Cincinnati at EverBank Field for the first time since 2005 when the Bengals come to town on Sunday, Nov. 5. The Jaguars lead the overall series, 11-9, including a 7-3 record at home. The two teams’ last meeting at EverBank Field was on Oct. 9, 2005, when the Jaguars defeated the Bengals, 23-20, in front of 66,137 fans.

EN ROUTE TO ‘THE LAND’:

The Jaguars will travel to Cleveland’s First Energy Stadium to face the Browns for the 17th time in franchise history on Nov. 19, 2017, with the Jaguars leading the series, 11-5 (6-2 on the road). The Jaguars have won their past two meetings against Cleveland, capturing a 24-6 victory at home in Week 7 of 2014 and winning, 32-28, in Cleveland in Week 13 of the 2013 season.

CHILLY IN CLEVELAND:

Jacksonville last played at FirstEnergy Stadium on Dec. 1, 2013, defeating the Browns, 32-28, in 40-degree temperatures. That marked the last game the Jaguars played with temperatures below 41 degrees.

DUEL IN THE DESERT:

The Jaguars will face Arizona on the road for only the second time in team history. This year’s game marks the fifth matchup between the two teams, with the overall regular season series tied at 2-2. The Jaguars have lost their last two games against the Cardinals, but won their only matchup at Arizona, 24-17, on Nov. 27, 2005.

FIRST-TIME VISITORS:

The Jaguars will make their first-ever visit to both University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. (11/26/17 at ARI) and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. (12/24/17 at S.F.) in 2017.

SEAHAWKS TRAVEL TO THE ATLANTIC COAST: 

The Jaguars will face the Seattle Seahawks for the eighth time in the regular season and the first time since Sept. 22, 2013. The Seahawks lead the regular season series, 5-2. In their last meeting at EverBank Field on Sept. 11, 2005, the Jaguars defeated the Seahawks, 26-14.

THREE OF A KIND:

The Jaguars will host three straight home games at EverBank Field to begin December (12/3 vs. IND, 12/10 vs. SEA, 12/17 vs. HOU). The last time that the team hosted three straight homes games was in 2013, when the team went 1-2, beating Houston on Dec. 5, but dropping their last two contests against Buffalo on Dec. 12 and Tennessee on Dec. 22.

BATTLE IN THE BAY AREA:

Jacksonville will make its first ever trip to Levi’s Stadium when it visits San Francisco in Week 16. It also marks the fifth time that the Jaguars will play on Christmas Eve. The Jaguars are 3-2 in games played on Dec. 24, including a win against Tennessee, 38-17, on Dec. 24, 2016. The Jaguars last faced the 49ers in London on Oct. 17, and the series between the two teams is tied at 2-2. The last time that Jacksonville traveled to the West Coast in the final month of the regular season was in 2004 when the team concluded the season with a 13-6 victory at the Oakland Raiders.

WRAPPING UP 2017 ON THE ROAD:

The Jaguars finish the season at San Francisco on Dec. 24, 2017 and Tennessee on Dec. 31, 2017, marking the fifth time in team history that Jacksonville concludes the regular season with two games on the road. The Jaguars last finished the season with back-to-back road games in 2015, when the Jaguars traveled to New Orleans in Week 16 and Houston in Week 17.
