ST. JOHNS RIVER TAXI

The St. Johns River Taxi provides transportation to various downtown destinations including the Doubletree Hotel, the Lexington Hotel, Friendship Fountain, the Jacksonville Landing, Hyatt, Omni, Metro Park Marina, the Veteran’s Memorial Arena, the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville and EverBank Field. The taxi runs continuously and loops every 30-35 minutes. Daily rates are $10 for a daily adult pass and $8 for children ages 3-12 and seniors 65 and over. Credit cards are accepted and tickets are sold on the boat.  Hours of Operation: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 11 am – 9 pm; Friday & Saturday 11 am – 11 pm; Sunday 11 am – 9 pm. The service is closed on Mondays for maintenance and private tours. Extended service is offered for major downtown events; cash only for game days and special pricing applies. ZOO CRUISE

Why bother with traffic and parking when you can cruise to the Jacksonville Zoo in style? Every Saturday, the St. Johns River Taxi departs from downtown at 10:30 am and cruises to the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens. We stop at all downtown river taxi stops to pick up guests with confirmed reservations. Ticket price includes Zoo admission. Adult tickets are $40. Children ages 3-12 are $30. Travel time to the Zoo is approximately 45 minutes. The taxi departs the Zoo at 2:30 pm and returns to downtown Jacksonville by 3:30 pm. Birthday cruises are also available to celebrate your child’s birthday with a fun-filled river ride to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens! Party package includes Zoo admission for up to 20 guests, River Cruise to/from the Jacksonville Zoo, choice of party music or narration along the way, a special surprise for the birthday child, and souvenir safari shades for each child. A party coordinator will be assigned to each group assist with all the details. Complimentary lemonade and water will be provided for all guests. MOSH BIRTHDAY CRUISE

Celebrate your child’s birthday on the river in a variety of party themes from pirates to princess, river explorer to eco tour parties, scavenger hunts to karaoke parties. Parties must be booked with a minimum of 20 party guests with one free adult chaperone for every six kids. Guests will board our 60 or 100-passenger boat at Friendship Park. You can have a picnic in the park before or after your River Cruise or combine your cruise with a trip to MOSH! Price includes one hour on the river, drinks, and a PA system to play your child’s favorite tunes. Pizza, face painting, a birthday cake and/or a caricature artist are available for an additional fee. A Birthday Cruise Party Coordinator will be assigned to each group and the river crew includes a USCG licensed captain and trusty first mate. MOSH SCIENCE & HISTORY TOURS

Science & History River Tours are held at 1 pm and 3:30 pm every Saturday in conjunction with the Museum of Science and History. Learn about Jacksonville’s history, the importance of our river over time, and the wildlife that thrives in and around the St. Johns during the 30-minute narrated cruise along the St. Johns River. Adults $15, children (3-12) and MOSH members $12. Boarding at the Friendship Fountain dock. Get tickets online at rivertaxiandtours.com or at MOSH.

RIVER JAM SUNSET CRUISES

Enjoy live music as you cruise the St. Johns and watch the sunset in Downtown Jacksonville. Sunset cruises departs from Friendship Park thirty minutes prior to sunset and returns 30 minutes after sunset. Cruises usually include live music and have a beverage sponsor.  Reservations are required; cruises will be rescheduled due to inclement weather. NARRATED SIGHTSEEING TOURS

Enjoy a one hour narrated tour through downtown Jacksonville aboard the Miss Hadley. Boarding at Friendship Fountain dock, guests can cruise along the St. Johns, an American Heritage River, and learn about our city’s history.  For cruise dates and times, visit rivertaxiandtours.com.

ANNUAL RIVER PASS

Ride the River Taxi all year long for the price of just 15 days! Great for downtown residents and downtown businesses. The annual pass is $150 and includes transportation to all home Jags games and special events in the sports complex. Access to ticketed cruises and tours, including sunset tours, eco tours, history tours, MOSH tours and Zoo cruises are not included in the annual pass purchase, but pass holders receive a discount.  Passes can be purchased online at rivertaxiandtours.com.
