The new documentary, Blood and Steel: Cedar Crest Country Clubchronicles the protean scene that fused the skateboard and punk worlds, located, of all places, at The Crest, a country club in the Washington, D.C. suburbs. At the local screening of the doc, director Michael Manigliz, skate overlords Tony Alva, Christian Hosoi and Mike McGill are on hand to hang and (hope, hope) answer some questions about Ian MacKaye’s skate trick skills.
