Reka One, ArtRepublic 2016

ArtRepublic, the non-profit organization that aggressively put together a 4 day mural expo last year is back for a twelve day event from November 1 – 12, 2017. ArtRepublic has established an intentional system for infusing art and culture to elevate and inspire communities that can be implemented globally.  This system consists of adhering to a standard of excellence in all curation, developing featured artists, thoughtful collaborations with the academic art world and brands and creating a cultural atmosphere that nurtures growth amongst high performing individuals.

The organization has partnered with Has their returning Title Sponsor. This year ArtRepublic will bring together Public Art Installations, Technology, Fashion, Design, Live Music and Philosophy to begin evolving Jacksonville into a nationally recognized art and culture city. This makes the organization the only one of its kind in North Florida to bring together all platforms that capsulate all essences of applied art that’s privately funded.

In 2016, the organization brought twelve internationally recognized mural Artists to the River City to beautify the core of Downtown Jacksonville. Along with the murals the current 501(c)3 organization invited New York City designer Luxuryia for the worldwide release of the couture, eco-friendly collection – now being featured in Vogue Italia. In the spirit of elevating parts of Downtown Jacksonville, ArtRepublic hosted a highly curated culinary evening at the Doro District which included seven restaurants and live art installations.

This year ArtRepublic has partnered with Los Angles based and newly headquartered in North Florida Technology Company, Ijhana. “Since Ijhana’s inception art has played an important role in our approach to solving complex business and technology roadblocks facing our clients. Our partnership with ArtRepublic will further push this approach and showcase the magic that can be created when art is applied to technology”, says founder Kevin Calloway.

“What is happening right now within ArtRepublic is nothing short of divine intervention every day and we are on the edge of our seats for our community and the world to see the full scope of what is being born.”

“We are going back to our progressive roots and ArtRepublic is an extremely intentional system for organizing the development of this new culture. What is happening right now within ArtRepublic is nothing short of divine intervention every day and we are on the edge of our seats for our community and the world to see the full scope of what is being born,” says Jessica Santiago, Founder and CEO of ArtRepublic.
