There is a new addition to the Jacksonville Sports Complex that will complement the city’s skyline and boost the city’s profile as an entertainment destination. Daily’s Place Amphitheater is a 5,500-seat venue opening Memorial Day weekend at 1 Daily’s Place at the south end of the EverBank Field, creating a cohesive link between the two facilities.
Grammy Award-winning artists – and Jacksonville residents – Tedeschi Trucks Band, led by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, perform the opening concert event May 27. The amphitheater is expected to be used year-round and will host an estimated 30-40 concerts per year. A concert will be staged the night before every Jaguars home game.
The venue holds approximately 3,500 seats on the floor level, plus two 1,000-seat balconies with every seat in the house under cover. The first balcony will connect directly to the stadium’s Bud Light Party Zone and the second balcony will link to the Field’s Auto Terrace Suite level via access bridges at each level.
The state-of-the-art amphitheatre was designed to ensure the best experience both the audience and the artists with special consideration to sight lines, sound and video technology. The back-of-house building features multiple dressing rooms, artist lounges, a VIP meet and greet space, laundry and dining facilities.
The concert calendar is filling up as the official opening approaches. The following shows have been announced to date:

Bold Events, a new company formed by the team, will plan concerts, soccer games and other events at the amphitheater, the stadium and a new, 94,000 square-foot flex field. The flex field will provide an indoor practice facility for the Jaguars and be positioned directly behind the amphitheater stage. The facilities will also be available for use by other promoters for such events as monster truck shows and college football games.
The covered flex field includes a regulation-size football field with over 20 feet of auxiliary space around the artificial playing surface to allow the Jaguars to practice indoors during inclement weather. At its highest point at the 50-yard-line, the pitch of the roof reaches nearly 80 feet and features two airplane hangar doors to the north and south that can open the field up to the amphitheater via sliding door behind the stage.
Seating packages will be available for some of the seats. Individual seats priced between $1,000-$1,500 per year will be sold for approximately 300 seats in the lower bowl, allowing fans the right to buy the same seat for every show. Seats on the upper Terrace Suite level will be offered for $3,625 per year and include ticket, food, beverage and parking. There will also be 30 boxes offered, each including up to 10 seats that will sell for $15,000-$35,000 per year and include valet parking and tickets.
The Daily’s Place Amphitheater is a partnership between The City of Jacksonville and the Post to Post Links II error: No link found for term slug "jaguars". Jaguars’ season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for events at Daily’s Place Amphitheater. With more season ticket holders than there are seats in the new facility, some events could sell out before tickets ever become available to the public.
In August, 2016, the city of Jacksonville and the Jaguars franchise officially broke ground on the new entertainment facility. The construction of Daily’s Place represents phase two of the $90 million investment in EverBank Field announced in January. Phase 1 included improvements to the US Assure Club and the creation of a new south endzone super-tunnel that serves as a new entrance to the field.
