Restaurant will serve cocktails inspired by The FSCJ Artist Series productions
“Our goal is to encourage guests of our restaurant and The FSCJ Artist Series to think of Downtown as a cohesive destination for entertainment and dining.”
The Candy Apple Café & Cocktails, an award-winning restaurant in Downtown Jacksonville, today announced its new Cocktail Artist Series program. Through this program, the restaurant will serve cocktails inspired by select Broadway productions from The FSCJ Artist Series’ 2016-17 season.
All Cocktail Artist Series drinks will be available during their corresponding show’s run dates. The Cocktail Artist Series for the current season includes:

Apple Of My Eye, an apple cider and whiskey cocktail inspired by Jersey Boys (available February 14-19)
Under The Sea, a blueberry and vodka cocktail inspired by The Little Mermaid (available March 21-26)
Kinky Champs, a Champagne cocktail inspired by Kinky Boots (available May 2-7)
The Glass Slipper, a traditional white Cosmo inspired by Rogers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella (available June 13-18)[/box]
All five Broadway shows will be presented at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. Season packages and select individual tickets are currently on sale.
The Candy Apple Café & Cocktails introduced its first theater-inspired cocktail, The Martini of the Night — a white chocolate martini inspired by THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA — in February 2016. The popularity of the cocktail, coupled with co-owner Jennifer Earnest’s passion for uniting Downtown’s cultural and culinary communities, led to the expansion of the concept for 2017.
“Our goal is to encourage guests of our restaurant and The FSCJ Artist Series to think of Downtown as a cohesive destination for entertainment and dining,” said Jennifer Earnest. “We were thrilled to welcome so many theater fans to the restaurant when we created The Martini of the Night, which was inspired by the FSCJ Artist Series’ presentation of The Phantom of the Opera last year. We look forward to sharing more delicious cocktails this year.”
In addition to offering theater-inspired cocktails, The Candy Apple Café & Cocktails also offers a pre-show prix fixe menu that is available throughout the year. This menu includes a glass of wine, appetizer, entrée and dessert for $30 per person. To take advantage of this offer, guests must present their show tickets to a server. The pre-show prix fixe menu will not be available on February 14.
