TAKE A BREATHER

The Pauses describe their music as “Indierocktronica,” an apt appellation for the cool blend of electronic gurgle, cutting electric and acoustic guitars, and butt-shaking beats, topped off by soaring vocals. The Orlando three-piece released a split EP with the Great Deceivers, as well as a tasty, Portishead-style take on the Charlie Brown classic, “Christmas Time is Here,” and just finished recording their upcoming full-length release.
