It was way cool when Bob Dylan recently won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Even cooler when “Bawb” went MIA on the Swedish Academy, making them wonder if the dude even wanted this noble (pun) accolade. What did they expect from an artist who’s always abandoned trends as soon as he created them? Anyway, his imminent return to this area gives old-timers a chance to genuflect, newcomers a chance to see a true American master of songwriting, and hecklers several chances to yell, “Freebird!”
