The Elbow Jam is back and it’s better than ever! Presented Nov 17 by Downtown Vision, Inc., “The Elbow Jam” offers six bands on two outdoor stages in the city’s Downtown Entertainment District. The bash formerly known as The Elbow Bender also includes live mural artists, dance performances and more.

The outdoor “activation areas” will feature live music performances on the Bay Street and Adams Street stages. Wise River kicks things off at 7 pm on the Bay Street Stage followed by Tomboi at 8 pm and Whole Wheat Bread at 9 pm. On the Adams Street Stage, Bigfoot Barefoot starts things off a 7 pm. Dr. Science follows at 8 pm and Aaron Lebos Reality closes out the live music at 9 pm.

Participating bars and restaurants located in the district will offer drink specials, trivia, DJs, and music showcases. A food truck lot will also be established along the Bay Street corridor. Last year’s event had an attendance of over 5,000.

Sponsored by EU Jacksonville, the Elbow Jam is an extension of the commitment to foster a vibrant entertainment center in the city’s downtown core. The Elbow is a diverse, walkable community of restaurants, bars and live music venues cultivated around The Florida Theatre from Bay Street to Adams Street and Main Street to Liberty Street.
