Former Ramones drummer Richie Ramone was credited with saving the band during the mid-’80s by none other than frontman Joey Ramone – strong praise, indeed. Since leaving the NYC protean punks, Ramone (born Richard Reinhardt) has stayed busy with music, playing with the B-52’s Fred Schneider, the Gobshites and composing a classical piece titled Suite for Drums and Orchestra for the Pasadena Pops. Now that’s what we call versatility, punker.
