“Warcraft” Movie Preview

The world of Azeroth is changing. The dark clouds from the north bring with them the powerful warrior Orcs of Draenor. The horde of Orcs are desperate to escape their dying world. They have found an open portal which leads them to the peaceful lands of Azeroth. They want this a new home and they’ll fight anyone that gets in the way of that ambition. The Alliance, a gathering of the dwellers of Azeroth must make their stand against the approaching Horde. Peace between them doesn’t seem possible leading King Llane (Dominic Cooper) of the Alliance to call upon Sir Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) to try stop the impending destruction of the land. However there is a greater darkness watching in the shadows.

Action on top of more action. This an impressive trailer with a story based off of Warcraft, a video game released before the popular series World of Warcraft. Director Duncan Jones (Source Code/Moon) is going to treat audiences to fantasy, diversity and high adventure. It will be an introduction letter to movie goers that are unfamiliar with the franchise. My hope is that it will be just as epically entertaining as “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit.”
