HAYLING The father of St. Augustine’s Civil Rights movement, Dr. Hayling opened the first medical dental office without racially segregated waiting rooms, led demonstrations and endured violence in the Ancient City during the 1960s. Dr. Hayling died Sunday, Dec. 20.
