UP: Stadium Renovations

All the big boys (Mousa, Harden, Lamping, Weinstein) were on hand in during Jacksonville City Council’s meeting on Monday. They dropped in on the finance subcommittee meeting to bear witness to the “dog and pony” show of approving a nearly $90 million dollar renovation project, of which the city’s contribution will be $45 million. Then, on Tuesday, three more committees danced around the proposal, which should be ready for a vote (see: approval) at the Tuesday, Dec. 8 Council meeting.
