The Elements have been throwing some of the most unique parties this city has ever seen lately thanks to their access to the coolest venue in town, the Museum of Science and History. Past events have included such highlights as Super Smash Bros tournies in the Planetarium, up close and personal encounters with dinosaurs, liquid nitrogen ice cream and more. Always one to outdo themselves, the gang is now putting to use some of the museum’s best assets and bringing in some talented and innovative musicians to provide and audio-visual experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen! At Science of Sound you’ll mix and mingle to the psyche-acoustic sounds of All the Oceans, a live-scored soundscape provided by musical genius, Jeremiah Johnson, and a synth-driven hallucination by Severed+Said. Then you’ll make your way into the Planetarium where app developer and composer Alexandernaut will demo his latest creation, Fugue Machine, a disruptive AppStore chart-topper followed by a set from Navigateur featuring Datadiamond. As if that weren’t enough, the party concludes on the rooftop with its gorgeous view of Downtown Jacksonville, free Mojo’s BBQ and the instrumental fusion jams of Tambor! Oh, and Aardwolf beer will lubricate your senses throughout the evening. This event is on November 14th, 7 till 11pm and you must be at least 21 years old. Tickets are $40 and available via the MOSH website or through the Facebook event page. Tickets are limited and this party will prove to be the event of the year so don’t delay!
