Welcome ladies and gentleman! I hope everyone is ready to take a fashion trip on the Style High Club 747. The date is Oct. 9, Friday and your destinations will be New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta.

If anyone is afraid of flying don’t worry. You are not boarding a real plane but stepping into The Flight Fashion Show celebrating the 5 year anniversary of Meow and Barks Boutique hosted by Yual and Emily B., celebrity stylist and shoe designer.

Haskell’s Plaza Café was transformed into a runway with thirty white chairs on either side. The expected turnout was 100 people but there were closer to 150 people in attendance.

Full bars were stocked including one for the VIP’s who were also served hot food such as crab fondue with bread and one outside for the other guests. The St. John’s River served as a marvelous back drop for the show with framed art decorating the walls.

DJ Al Pete played the most popular R&B and Rap along with sound effects of a plane landing with each collection from the four different cities which were introduced with popular songs for their city. Host Yual who has attended other speaking events was the hype man for the evening keeping the audience’s energy up throughout the show.

IMG_3375IMG_3377Models with sharp, short bobs and natural make up with lips that popped with color dominated the runway in the hottest fashion from New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta.

Some of the looks presented on the runway were New York that showed class, and black and white clothing with layers. For example, a fitted long sleeve black sweater and a white and black horizontal full skirt. LA showed layers and loose and fitted jackets like the nude tone sleeveless coat while Miami was full of cutouts, skin and an all-white jumpsuit showing off different textures. Last but not least was Atlanta with a great look featuring a black tuxedo jacket and black feathers.

All of the collections were classy, daring and full of fun and life. Traci Evans: the owner of Meow and Barks Boutique provided all of the fashions for the show while La Tavia Dawson of Fabulous Faces of Makeup did the model’s hair and make up to perfection.

This fashion show was presented by Traci Evans and La Tavia Dawson. The sponsors were Brittany Jones, Fabulous Faces Makeup, House of Blend (Barber Shop), Crème of Nature and Jordan Reed Events by Laporscha Felix.

This fashion show was one the audience will not forget. Even the audience was dressed to impress while some even wore fashions from Meow and Barks Boutique.

If you would like to see more fashion of Meow and Barks Boutique and Fabulous Faces Makeup you can visit the website meowandbarksboutique.com, fabulousfacesmakeup.com or you can visit the San Marco’s location at 1537 San Marco Blvd.
