Originally hailing from Boulder, Colorado, the kind buds (hiyo!) known as Leftover Salmon play a style of music they call “Polyethnic Cajun Slamgrass,” a potent strain (one more pot pun!) of different genres including bluegrass, rock, country, and Cajun/Zydeco. These lords of the jam band scene, who’ve released eight full-length releases, are gleeful participants in the cross-pollination/the-bands-all-play-together vibe of the genre, which can lead to either blissed-out improv or glooped-out noodling. Ya buys yer ticket, ya takes yer chances!
