This exhibit will be the first of its kind for the artist. Michal has spent more than 20 years as a working photographer, is a respected leader and lecturer in the photography industry; with her work being featured on greeting cards and calendars in major retail stores around the world. Michal has always had a deep appreciation for fine art landscape and nature photography. Michal’s love for nature led to her an unparalleled ability to capture the beauty of the flower.
Her approach is unique in that she photographs most of her floral subjects in a studio environment. Michal uses the controlled lighting to bring out details in the flowers often missed in their natural setting. Flowers are one of the most sought after fine art genres and her images have become immediately collectable. She is currently working on her first book, Flowers in Transition that will feature more than 150 of her most beautiful and interesting images. It will be available for pre-purchase during the exhibit. The exhibit runs through January 9th2016. Images are available for preview at susanmichalfineart.com and prints exhibited will be available for purchase.
