Acclaimed singer-songwriter Richard Shindell has lived all over, from a Zen Buddhist monastery and Manhattan to his current home in Buenos Aires. Over the course of a dozen releases, Shindell’s music reflects that restless and rambling spirit, with novelistic-type songs both earthbound and spiritual. A regular collaborator with fellow neo-folkie stars Dar Williams and Lucy Kaplansky, Shindell has tunes that have been covered by folk music matriarch Joan Baez.
