RINGING IN FIFTY YEARS WITH ALL THE FRILLS AND FEATHERS: “LA CAGE AUX FOLLES”

Players by the Sea presents the Tony Award winning musical LA CAGE AUX FOLLES to kick-off the 50th anniversary season. Feathers will fly, for better or worse, in this gender-bending smash hit!

Meeting the in-laws is never easy, but Jean-Michel has it tougher than most. His future in-laws are ultra-conservative, while his father runs a drag nightclub where his “mother” is the star performer. When Jean-Michel asks them to masquerade as a straight couple for just one night, things go hysterically wrong. A dazzling musical with lots of humor and even more heart!

The show is directed and choreographed by James Kinney with musical direction by Stefanie Baston and vocal direction by Matt Morgan. The cast features J. Daniel Altman as Georges, Dave A. Thomas as Albin, Chris Robertson as Jean-Michel, Jereme Raickett as Jacob, Jennifer Johnston as Anne, Bill White as Edourd Dindon, Brooks Anne Hayes Meierdierks as Marie Dindon, Sally Kinney as Jacqueline, Jeff Grove as Mr. Renaud, Susan Roth as Mrs. Renaud, Joe Shawn Mahoney as Francis and Kyle Geary as the Waiter. The Cagelles include Jonathan Leonard as Chantal, Ryan Arroyo as Monique, Jamil Abdur-Rahman as Mercedes, Kimberly Cooper York as Dermah, Michael Lomeka as Hannah, Drew L. Brown as Phaedra, Jocelyn Geronimo as Losingh and Brandon Paris as Babette.
