Eco Relics is a haven for those looking for that perfect reclaimed piece or materials for that next home remodeling project . . .  wait for it, wait for it . . . but there is so much more there. You will find yourself amidst a world of rare memorabilia and unique collectibles. Automotive and antique lovers alike will appreciate the ever-growing inventory of memorabilia that spans hood ornaments, fenders, hubcaps and license plates. You’ll feel like you’re in American Pickers as you look through the collection of old service station signs, gas pumps, cans and so much more. When you’re ready to go beyond some really cool additions to your garage wall, check out the 1937 half ton, flatbed Ford with an inline flathead V8. You could drive it home for only $28,000.

The 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse also accommodates a treasure trove of camera, video and music equipment and accessories. Explore all of the old movie, theater and record collections where you will find everything from that ever-elusive, limited-edition reggae album to a Thomas Edison Phonograph with a full set of records―you’ll be spinning like it’s 1929. Usher in the new era of Star Wars movies by celebrating the originals with a 20ft. x 4ft. Star Wars banner. Additionally, there are countless movie posters and old photos to leaf through. A recent pick yielded a collection of Polaroid and video production equipment as well.

If you’re not interested in treating your inner gear head, audiophile or Star Wars nerd to something special, come in and browse an exceptional selection of housewares and home decor. From different colors of depression-era glass to full sets of silver table settings and porcelain china sets, there are so many one-of-a-kind pieces and collections that will help create the unique aura that you’ve been working towards.

Not Just Stuff, But Services Too

Eco Relics supplies an important service to the community―acquiring reusable materials and pieces that would otherwise go to a landfill. From large businesses to homes, they provide convenient drop-off and pick-up services. For drop-off, their receiving department is open 5 days a week (weekends are by appointment only) from 9am to 5pm. While no appointment is needed, you may want to call ahead or fill out a service request form online to ensure that there is interest in buying your materials. For pick-ups, Eco Relics will dispatch a truck quickly to collect your materials. You can also fill out a service request online if you are interested. Additionally, deconstructive strip-out or material strip-out services are available. They can work with demolition companies prior to tearing a structure down to strip out fixtures from your building or work on small home renovation projects to remove sinks and floors. Call or visit ecorelics.com to learn more about these services.

Set aside a few hours of your day to visit the long and not-so-winding rows of rare, reclaimed finds at Eco Relics or visit them at the upcoming SPAR (Springfield Preservation and Revitalization) Tour of Homes on June 6th and 7th. You can also visit ecorelics.com/shop to peruse and purchase a selection of materials, collectibles and memorabilia.
