Feb 10 at 7:30pm Harsha Abeyaratne, Piano Terry Concert Hall, Sri Lankan pianist Harsha Abeyaratne returns to Jacksonville University for a solo recital in a program which includes music from his recent New York recital.

Feb 13 at 7:30pm Omphalos, Lauren Frances Evans and Jensen Hande Alexander Brest Gallery, Two-person exhibition. Evans’ sculptural work addresses the body as a site of irresistible paradox. Hande’s photographs, portraits in nature, are equally investigative and explore the potential humor, sweetness, and commercialism juxtaposed within the portraits’ format..

Feb 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30pm, Feb 22 at 2pm Martin Bejerano, Jazz Piano Terry Concert Hall, World-class jazz pianist and composer Martin Bejerano has reached a level of untouchable and uncompromised ability and creativity.

April 2 at 7:30pm Student Jazz Combos River House

April 8 at 7:30pm Opera Goes Pop Swisher Theater, Enjoy the vocalism of the JU singers and choristers in an evening of pop opera including music from composers Giacomo Puccini and Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as the light opera and crossover hits of Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and George Gershwin.

April 9, 10, 11 at 7:30pm JU Wind Ensemble “Song and Dance” Terry Concert Hall

April 12 at 3pm Lotus Sounds Black Box Theater, A special electronic music and media art concert featuring works of electronic music with video and instruments.

April 14 at 7:30pm Orchestra and Choir Concert Terry Concert Hall
