Country legends don’t come much bigger than Merle Haggard, the man who practically invented the Bakersfield sound on classic hits like “I Take a Lot of Pride in What I Am,” “Mama Tried,” and “Workin’ Man Blues.” His rusty voice and incredible songwriting abilities came to Downtown, Jacksonville at the Florida Theatre on Sunday Jan. 25. EU’s photographer Fran Rulchalski was there to capture the event. www.franruchalskiphotographer.com
