Can you say Deja Vu? This movie reminds me of “I Love You Man” starring Paul Rudd and Jason Sigel. But even though the message is the same “The Wedding Ringer” is still one of the funniest movies that I have seen in a while.

Doug Harris (Josh Gad, Frozen) has the life every guy wants. He has a great job, nice car and he is marrying Gretchen Palmer (Kaley Cuoco, Big Bang Theory) the girl of his dreams. What else does he need? A best man and seven groomsmen in seven days! Doug has no one to turn to until he meets Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) who has perfected being the best man for a living. Need groomsmen, bachelorette party, best man to meet your future in-laws then Jimmy is the man for you.

But when Jimmy learns that Doug needs not only a best man but seven groomsmen in seven days he sees it as a chance to perform the ultimate best man challenge: The Golden Tux.

Jimmy calls in favors and rounds up seven unique guys to be Doug’s groomsmen for the wedding. My favorite line is when Doug meets his groomsmen and says, “These guys look like the guys from Goonies who grew up and became rapists.” But Jimmy knows what he is doing; each man is given a new name, personality, and job and with a party trick when they get into trouble.

But the main message is about friendship and that you can find a good friend anywhere, you just have to open your eyes and your heart and when you find that special someone that gets you and that you can be yourself around then you have a friend for life. I think the director did an amazing job portraying just how important having a friend is.

And if you love to laugh, this movie will have you laughing from beginning to the end. It is hilarious, crazy and has an unexpected plot twist. Believe me this is one movie that you won’t want to miss. Coming out January 16th 2014 in theatres everywhere!
