Two-time James Beard award-nominated Chef Tom Gray of Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails was recently featured inTastemade’s “The Grill Iron” – a YouTube series that takes a scrumptious look into one of the best football traditions: tailgating. Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails took the spotlight for the Florida State/Clemson game, and the video launched earlier this week.

Chef Tom Gray’s tailgating menu is “Garnet and Gold Pork Loin” – pork loin, coleslaw and SC-style potato salad — all topped with a “garnet and gold” sauce. I don’t recommend watching this hungry, but here is the link! The video also showcases Moxie Kitchen + Cocktail’s relationship with local Cognito Farm and other sustainable sources.

Velvet Underground

Words by Amiyah Golden  As warm winds blow and the weather fluctuates, it can be difficult to really embrace that holiday spirit with the absence of snow blanketing the streets of Jacksonville. We often try to find ways to supplement that “White Christmas” feeling and rekindle that yuletide merriment.
