Video: “The Ant and the Grasshopper” by This Frontier Needs Heroes

This Frontier Needs Heroes has a new single out now! “The Ant and the Grasshopper” is loosely based on the Aesop fable and Disney Cartoon.  America today is split up into angry Ants, and careless Grasshoppers in a political tug-of-war.  Each side perceives the other as the enemy, but both are truly needed for society to grow and prosper.  It is unclear who is actually the catalyst for destruction although both blame the other while the barn burns down.  The new lineup of musicians was assembled from the permanent members of the heroes, plus some of Athens, GA finest musicians from Grape Soda, Night School, and Little Gold. Dave Heumann of Arbouretum (Thrill Jockey) is featured on lead guitar.  The darker rock oriented arrangements bring out a whole new element to the heroes music.

Recorded at the Glow Studio in Athens, GA by Jesse Mangum

Written and Produced by Brad Lauretti (Heroic Endeavours BMI)

Musicians include:
