Formed as an offshoot of The Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule kicked their way onto the music scene with their 1995 eponymous debut. Since then, the band has released more than a dozen albums and played an ungodly amount of shows featuring their signature blend of blues, jazz, Southern rock and beyond. Gov’t Mule has been long recognized as forefathers of the jam band scene; key to that rep is hearing them in full flight, flat-out killing it on the concert stage.
