This ridiculously funny film will have your stomach cramping with laughter. Ben (Kevin Hart) has big hopes and dreams of becoming an Atlanta Police Officer. When Ben gets accepted into the police academy he hopes he will finally gain the respect and blessing of James (Ice Cube) who is totally opposed to Ben marrying his sister Angela played by the beautiful (Tika Sumpter). Ice Cube who plays a hotshot, upstanding cop; invites Ben along to shadow him on a 24 hour shift, He is confident that after the ride along Ben will forget about becoming a police officer and his sister. Kevin Hart who plays the fast talking Ben is in for the ride of his life.
Ice cube who has had a long successful career has come along way from his N.W.A. gangsta rap roots. Tika who started out modeling, currently stars on Tyler Perry’s T. V. drama The Haves and the Have Not’s, and BET sitcom The Game. She is also in Madea’s Christmas, Think Like a Man, Sparkle, and Salt.
