The holidays can be a tough time financially, mentally even emotionally for some people. Imagine being pregnant and alone for the holidays, or just having the financial worries of preparing for the arrival of a new child in today’s economy. The caring staff at Lifeline Resources Inc. wants you to know that bringing a child into this world should be a healthy and joyful experience; one that they are here to help assist you with.

Lifeline Resources Inc. is a faith-based, non-profit organization that assists parents young and old, from all walks of life, with the stressful worries that come along with an unplanned pregnancy. Whether you are an unwed teenager who is facing the incredible task of becoming a mother; or a married or single woman preparing to give birth to a child that has caught you by surprise, Lifeline Resources Inc. are there to provide answers and free assistance that can help you during this sometimes difficult process.

This organization was founded three years ago by Executive Director Colleen Garson, who has her own testimony of becoming pregnant as a teen and feeling scared and alone. She kept her baby and gave birth to a daughter and later had two sons. Her story turned out great; but what she also gave birth to was the passion to help other mothers and babies. She shared with me a spiritual encounter of being woken up in the middle of the night by the Lord and given this mandate.

All of the services offered are FREE and include pregnancy test, limited obstetric ultrasounds, maternity clothes, baby clothes and supplies up to 24 months. They also provide educational resources about sexual health, options counseling, information and referrals to other community services.

Lifeline Resources Inc. accepts volunteers, clothing donations and monetary gift donations. If you would like to support this worthy cause or become part of the Lifeline Resources passionate family and team, they would love to meet with you! If you are in need of any of these services, or if you know of anyone in need of these services please feel free to visit : www.scaredandpregnant.org
