Eat, Drink and Dress Merry

by EMILY MOODY
Between work, family and friends, there are always so many parties to go to but not enough outfits in your closet. Add a pop of color here and a little sparkle there and you’ll be feeling festive and put together in no time!
Jewel Tones
The saturated colors reminiscent of gemstones are always a bold, eye-catching color choice. Why not don an emerald green (which happens to also be Pantone’s color of the year) frock for a night out? Silks in rich amethyst purple, ruby red or sapphire blue will leave you feeling lavish and pair perfectly with a dash of holiday spirit.
Bling in the New Year
So much sparkle and so little time. We can’t get enough of big cocktail rings and statement necklaces. Plus, search for a cute clutch with some shimmer. There are loads of metallic bags out right now; it’s just a matter of finding the one that fits your taste and budget!
Va-Va-Vintage
Mixing vintage items into your wardrobe is a great way to stay unique and show off a style all your own. Whether it’s a vintage jacket, purse or necklace, pick pieces to spice up your ensemble.
Tighten Up
Tights are not only functional but super fun too! Keep your legs warm while making your outfit snazzy. Bright colors and prints are perfect to pair with dresses for winter!
Monochromatic
Sometimes more is more. In this case, more of the same color makes a bigger statement! Try it out with all neutrals (we went with Khaki and browns on our model) or even shades of grey to keep a more sophisticated, demure look.
