Brewsters Megaplex was the place to be on Wednesday night, November 26 as an excited young crowd greeted Heffron Drive. This duo from Wichita, Kansas rocked the house.
The band members are Kendall Schmidt (Member of Nickelodeon band ‘Big Time Rush’) and Dustin Belt (Traveling guitarist for Big Time Rush and actor in short film ‘August’). Kendall Schmidt started playing guitar at 15 years old but has dreamed of a life as a musician even before that. He and Dustin Belt never knew each other until a chance meeting in 2008 in L.A, where they became instant best friends. Later on they realized that not only are they from the same town, but they also grew up on the same street as each other, Heffron Drive. They are now based out of Burbank, California where they write, play and record all of their own music. Heffron Drive has had over 800,000 plays of their music.
The Jacksonville audience danced and sang along to the poetry and energy of their music.
Opening acts were Ariana and the Rose and Eric Dash. Though these acts weren’t the main draw of the crowd. That didn’t hinder fans from singing along and loving every second that they were on. Ariana and the Rose was amazing with her originality and stage presence, while Eric Dash was enchanting with his one of a kind lyrics and tunes.
Fans were heard raving about how great and cute the bands truly are.
