The holidays can be a stressful time, so if you’re looking to de-stress but also get in a holiday mood, there’s no place better than One Ocean’s Spa. With an ocean view, complimentary beverages and a soothing atmosphere, getting away from it all without leaving the First Coast has never been easier.
Even if you’re only getting a manicure or a pedi, it’s worthwhile to come early. After all, you’re not just there to get your nails done, you’re there to relax. They offer a jacuzzi in the ladies area (I bring a bathing suit) and steam rooms. Once you’ve done that, slip into a robe and head to the observation room to gaze upon the picturesque and windswept sea whilst you sip a complimentary beverage. My beverage of choice is always a mimosa, but you can also enjoy the less alcoholic, soothing tea, coffee, and fruit-infused water.
The Pumpkin Latte Pedi (which is on special for the month of November) smells like a pumpkin pie and coffee dessert. The leg and foot massage is gloriously restful and you get a pedicure for pretty holiday feet! If a body massage sounds more relaxing, then you can go for the Cranberry Orange Tea Immersion. It’s also offered in November. In December there’s the ‘Tis The Season Spiked Pecan Pie Pedi and the Buttered Rum Holiday Body Bliss. You too can unwind, gently combating the holiday hustle while smelling like a holiday dessert and/or beverage at the One Ocean Spa.

Specials offered in the month of November
Pumpkin Latte Pedi $50 (Regularly $70) Tired legs and feet experience immediate relaxation with a creamy butter brûlée whole milk soak followed by an invigorating caffeine-infused whipped caramel polish to smooth rough edges. A super-charged organic pumpkin purée mud mask deep cleans and tingles before the treatment is completed with a dollop of velvety smooth sweet cream milk lotion.
Cranberry Orange Tea Immersion $99 (Regularly $120) Aromatic cranberry orange Shea butter soak is drizzled over tired muscles while a hydrating whipped Shea sugar sweet tea body polish clears away dead skin cells. A live fruit cell Shea butter crème application with notes of honeysuckle and blood orange both calms and delights.

Specials offered in the month of December
‘Tis The Season Spiked Pecan Pie Pedi $50 (Regularly $70) This festive seasonal pedicure begins with a whole milk soak scented with notes of crème brûlée to soothe dehydrated skin. A bourbon-infused pecan scented sugar exfoliating scrub is followed by a velvety caramel peppercorn body milk foot massage.
Buttered Rum Holiday Body Bliss $99 (Regularly $120) A creamy butter brûlée whole milk soak to moisturize and soothe tired bodies precedes an intoxicatingly sweet exfoliation using a special blend of brown sugar, premium aged rum and rice bran oil with a hint of delicious butterscotch. This tempting treatment finishes with a peppery caramel body milk lotion application that leaves skin soft and hydrated.

Best Pilates Studio: Yoga Den

Pilates is the gift that keeps on giving. A trend that caught fire last year and, thankfully, isn’t going anywhere: Yoga Den has snagged the title of Best Pilates Studio. The teachers are top-tier, the prices won’t break the bank, and they go above and beyond by hosting community events
