Brickbats to former Duval Clerk of Courts Jim Fuller for spending $46,000 of taxpayers’ money in his unsuccessful court effort to avoid being term-limited out of office, despite being warned by the General Counsel’s Office not to hire outside counsel. Fuller said he was justified in hiring lawyers to determine if term limits applied to his office. They did, and he’s out.
