RAM Oktoberfest – Friday & Saturday

EU Jacksonville is proud to be a sponsor of this years Riverside Arts Market annual Oktoberfest.
On October 21st and 22nd, the Riverside Arts Market will offer a family-friendly Oktoberfest complete with games, German food, and music. RAM’s second annual two-day festival will feature a variety of musical acts including local favorites such as Mike Shackleford, Eric Bowden, Larry Mangum, Shawn Lightfoot, and Lauren Fincham, as well as a traditional oompah band on Friday and Saturday night! Additionally, the taps will be flowing with local and German beer, while vendors serve up a variety of German fare, plus all the art, food and free fun the market is known for.
Festivities kick off at 5:00 PM Friday night with music and games including “Masskrugstemmen” (beer stein holding) contests, face painting for the kids, and other fun and games. The “One Step Ahead of the Law Brass Band” will Oompah the crowd from 6:30 – 8:45 PM. Saturday, RAM will have a KidZone with games, music, and fun for the kids, while featuring keg bowling, stein races, masskrugstemmen contests, and a special King and Queen Oktoberfest costume contest Saturday night. And, the oompah music will return on Saturday night from 6-8:15 PM.
Admission to all events is free. RAM’s Oktoberfest begins at 5:00 PM Friday, and extends through regular market hours Saturday, concluding Saturday evening.
Event Schedule:
Friday, October 21st: 5-10:30 PM
5 pm: Event Kickoff, local and German beer and food, fun & games.
5:30 – 6:00pm: Lauren Fincham w/Mike Pearson
6:30 – 8:45pm: One Step Ahead of the Law Brass Oompah Band
9:15 – 10:30pm: Larry Mangum

Saturday, October 22nd: 10:AM – 10:30 PM
10 am – 4 pm: The Riverside Arts Market is open with Oktoberfest theme, KidZone, games, and local and German beer and food will be available for purchase.
10:30 – 11:15am: Cathedral Arts Project
11:45am – 2:00pm: Mike Shackelford
2:30 – 4:00pm: Florida Conservatory of Music
4:30 – 5:30pm: Eric Bowden
6:00 – 8:15pm: One Step Ahead of the Law Brass Band (Oompah Music)
8:45 – 10:30pm: Shawn Lightfoot and the Brigade
