Calling for music videos

We’ve come a long way baby! Things have been quiet on the Jacksonville Music Video Revival front lately but the event returns with a BANG! this October as we join the newly named and re-branded Jax Film Fest lineup. That’s right, this year’s film fest will feature a full program of local music videos for your listening and viewing pleasure, all on the big screen as part of Duval’s premiere showcase of independent film.
The JMVR began last year as a pet project of Jack Diablo and EU Jacksonville with the intended purpose of showcasing local filmmaking and musical talent and the hopes of stimulating a “revival” of the art from here in Jacksonville. Many music videos have been made since then and we are pleased to offer an outlet for them to be seen by the public.
JMVR and the Jax Film Fest are now accepting submissions for this very special opportunity. To enter your video for consideration please mail or drop off your video in .mov format on a DVD to the Jax Film Fest HQ at 2011 Belote Pl, Jacksonville, FL 32207 no later than September 15.
