Burro Bar is a partnership between the brains behind Burro Bags and Shantytown Pub / Lomax Lodge owner, Ian Ranne. It occupies the Mediterranean Revival corner property originally built as a cigar shop that was most recently occupied by the London Bridge Pub. The bar is equipped with 20 taps that will feature a rotating selection of beers covering every taste on the spectrum including local favorites Bold City and Intuition. The bar is also set to become Jacksonville’s premiere venue for underground and independent music. Regular DJ nights / events include:

WEDNESDAY Trivia / Open Mic

The Grand Opening of Burro Bar will be during First Wednesday Art Walk on May 4. Live entertainment will include Jeremiah (Wudun), Opiate Eyes, After the Bomb Baby, Honey Chamber, Bad Dream, and Chicken & Whiskey.
Burro Bar will be part of a new event, soon-to-be-legendary, in the urban core of Downtown to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Burrito Gallery and Dos Gatos join the brand new bar for the 1ST ANNUAL LATIN TRIANGLE CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATION. Downtown will be livin’ it up Latin-style on Thursday, May 5 beginning at 5 pm.
Burro Bar will be hosting a variety of jazz and jazz-inspired musical acts during the Jacksonville Jazz Festival as well.
