WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND
TIMES UNION CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
Every year The Artist Series hosts the annual Open House to Test Drive Your Seats event when patrons and ticket purchasers can come out to Jacksonville’s Times Union Center to buy season tickets, renew their subscriptions anD then, quite literally, test out their seats. Buyers can walk into the theatre, take a seat in their seats, and determine for themselves which seats work best for them. This is the opportunity to try out a few different seating locations in the Moran Theatre, and exchange seats if desired. Subscribers have the opportunity to buy additional tickets for the season’s shows, including Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Legally Blonde, Cirque Dreams Illumination, Shrek The Musical, and our Subscriber Special Cats!
This year’s 13th Annual Test Drive Your Seats is Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Times-Union Center from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and features a special appearance from the Radio City Rockettes for the On-Sale Event; the first day the public can buy single tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular!
There will be a special Kick Off at 9:30 with the Rockettes. Guests in line for tickets will link arms and learn how to kick like a Rockette. For all the first 100 tickets purchased for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular patrons will receive a special gift and two tickets will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. Bring your camera and take your holiday photo with the Rockettes by the Christmas Tree in the lobby between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Enjoy complimentary treats from 4:00 to 6 pm.
The Christmas Spectacular is exactly that … spectacular. A cast and crew of nearly 100 people will return to City this season to deliver a holiday show experience like never before. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is sure to give audiences holiday memories to last a lifetime. Children of all ages will be enchanted by live holiday entertainment as teddy bears dance, wooden soldiers come to life, reindeer fly, Santa and his elves prepare for their biggest night of the year, and the Radio City Rockettes perform their fancy footwork and eye-high kicks!
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will be performed at the Times Union Center’s Moran Theatre December 2-12, 2010 for 28 performances.
