The Jacksonville Suns
Season: April-September
Oue “boys of summer”will be sporting new black and gold unis this season when they kick off pre-season exhibition game against the Florida Marlins on Friday, April 2. This Southern League Championship winning team is part of the Florida Marlins farm system and enjoys playing in the new, magnificent Jacksonville Baseball Grounds. The Jacksonville Knights
Season: December-April
The Jacksonville Knights are a minor league football team formed for the continuation and pursuit of post-high school football careers. These are adults who continue playing football and living out their dreams of playing in the National Football League. The Knights are a Winter/Spring Florida Football Alliance and play at Hodges Stadium on the Campus of University of North Florida. The Jacksonville Barracudas
Season: October-March
As member of the Southern Professional Hockey League these northern sport iceheads have found a warm and friendly home at the Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex. Its slapshot action and a brawling good time. www.jacksonvillehockey.com
The Jacksonville Admirals
Season: April-July
These hardwood hoop heroes are in the Eastern Division of the United States Basketball Association and play in the new Edward Waters College gymnasium. Game tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for seniors, kids & military. www.usbaball.com
The Jacksonville Axemen
Season: April-August
They’ve been called the “pitbulls of the human race” and rugby certainly is not a sport for the meek. Part of the American National Rugby League this Brit import blood sport can be witnessed at Hodges Stadium on the Campus of University of North Florida. The Jacksonville Sharks
Season: April-July
