There are plenty of other tribute shows coming to Jacksonville this season. Here are some you may be interested in:

Dec. 26-31

Almost Abba
A performance show from the top ABBA tribute band. Formed in 1997, this fully-costumed and choreographed show was the first Canadian tribute to ABBA. Alhambra Dinner Theatre, 641-1212

Jan. 6 – February 15
A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline
The show starring Gail Bliss documents Patsy’s career from the time she was 14 years old until her untimely death at 30 in a plane crash in Camden, Tennessee. Alhambra Dinner Theatre, 641-1212

Classic Albums Live: The Eagles- Hotel California
The Classic Albums Live Series at the Florida Theatre takes the world’s greatest albums and recreates them live on stage using the world’s greatest musicians. Note for note. Cut for cut. You have to hear it to believe it! Florida Theatre, 355-5661

Gershwin Sings Gershwin: Alexis Gershwin
Gershwin Sings Gershwin starring Alexis Gershwin is a personal ode to her uncles Ira and George Gershwin, celebrating their lives and their music. The show will also feature the Gershwin Singers & a six piece Orchestra. The show will include all new arrangements of more than 20 Gershwin favorites. FCCJ’s Wilson Center, 646-2222

When Motown hit it big, the women of the genre became superstars. The soulful ladies of Radiance pay tribute to the Motown and the R&B era with the songs of The Supremes (‘Stop in the Name of Love’), Diana Ross (‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’), Aretha Franklin (‘Respect’) and many more. Dark Star Orchestra
Using entire shows from the Grateful Dead’s 30 years of extensive touring as a launching pad, Dark Star Orchestra recreates the original song for song performance set list for an entirely new generation of, as well as old school, Deadheads. Touring nationwide for nine years to the tune of nearly 1500 shows since forming, the band has a determined commitment to “raising the Dead.” Florida Theatre, 355-5661

Feb. 7
Love Me Tender- From Elvis with Love
Celebrate the King with the ultimate Elvis tribute starring two of the world’s finest Elvis impressionists. Mike Albert, acclaimed around the globe as “the World’s Finest Elvis Impressionist,” and Scot Bruce whose rocking tribute to the Elvis of the 50s has taken him across the United States and all over the world.
